Club Report

Jul 9, 2013 | News

Dear Raiders Family,

This is the Club Report for July 2013.

1. Our soccer season has been disrupted by heavy rain and school holidays. Thanks to all those who have made these adjustments. We hope you are continuing to enjoy the season.

2. You will all be pleased to know that our President Ron Ogilvie is making great progress after open heart surgery. We wish him all the best with his recovery.

3. Our condolences and best wishes go to Steve Brimicombe and his wife Margie and their family on the loss of Steve’s mother in England. Steve is the RTO for the over 45s and is a Raider’s Legend and life member having built the gear shed originally. Steve will be travelling to England for his mother’s funeral. Our thoughts go with him at this difficult time.

4. Could the over 45s please pack up the nets this Sunday. If there is a spare RTO who wants to go and watch the over 45s games at J Graham on Sunday afternoon and act as RTO for the team because of Steve Brimicombe’s absence, could you please let me know.

5. Thanks to all our wonderful coaches, managers, parents, and players. Please support our canteen, its great value for money.

A special thanks to Michael, Yvonne and Gerald who are putting in a lot of extra work to keep our club moving forward.
