Active Kids Program 2020

The $100 Active Kids program provides families in NSW with two $100 per school-aged child each year, to help meet the cost of getting kids involved in community sport. This voucher can be claimed twice annually from January and July and is not means tested. 

The NSW Government will provide a $100 voucher to parents/guardians of school enrolled children. The $100 voucher can be used for registration and participation costs for sport and fitness activities such as joining Rockdale City Raiders.   The second voucher is available from 1 July 2020 and it is to be used for a different program.

Every child (4.5 – 18 years old) enrolled in school from Kindergarten to Year 12 will be eligible for an Active Kids Voucher. This includes those who are home-schooled or enrolled in secondary school education at TAFE NSW.  Vouchers are valid for redemption during the current calendar year activity program which runs from 1 January to 31 December 2020. Vouchers expire at the end of the calendar year.

How do you download an Active Kids voucher?

Parents/guardians/carers with legal responsibility of an eligible child resident in NSW will be able to download a current year voucher from the online platform starting 1 January.

The platform will be run by Service NSW and can be accessed through the Active Kids website.

When you get to Service NSW website simply create or login to your MyServiceNSW Account. Complete an Active Kids application through your MyServiceNSW Account. You will receive a voucher with a unique ID number for each child you register (available to download, print and email.

How to use the Active Kids Voucher?

At the time of registration when get to the invoice screen you will see the option to enter in your Active Kids Voucher Code. The system will automatically validate this code and you will receive your discount if you have entered a valid code.

When can I use my second voucher?

The second voucher is available from July 1 ,2020 and it must be used on different activity or sport eg summer soccer ie not on the same program

Can I get the voucher refunded or transferred?

The vouchers are not transferable or refundable or redeemed for cash.
